Shannon Vaughn Nate Silverman Fire Only Aspect not yet awakened to his true identity, Shannon is perhaps the only one to actually hold Eli's trust. His birthday on leap year created a metaphysical loophole that allows him to exist so soon after his predecessor, Edward Shaw, lived a mere fifteen years ago. Blind from birth, Shannon has grown up with the advantage of less relatable experiences to poke Nate's memories. He works as an aide for the Chicago PD where he has come to quite the respected position after eleven years. Currently one of the few Aspects without a restraining order from Eli Delacroix, helped by the fact that Shannon was the one who filed them and not helped by the fact that he is an asshole. Being the Aspect of Fire, he sees heat around him and his natural body temperature sits around 101.5°F when healthy. With no further insight into his previous identity and where powers truly lie, this is about as supernatural as Shannon will ever get. BACK TO TOP Michelle Lautner Cecelia Silverman Air One of the first to be awakened, Michelle holds the honor of being the liaison between the Aspects and Thomas' avatar. Originally hailing from somewhere in Eastern Europe, she may her way to the United States to find a better life for herself. Now with a new identity, she's made herself into a highly successful lawyer and has also distanced herself from the other awakened Aspects with varying degrees of success. This makes her pretty unique in that she's only one of two Aspects to have not met Eli during his grand quest. As the Aspect of Air, Michelle uses her powers a bit more defensively than others would. Her primary tactics are to either create wind shields or to knock a person out by instead removing the air around them to create a vacuum.
